New music... [17 Dec 2009|09:38pm] cherrymint28 Mr. Al-Ziab (<--- aki not daddy al-ziab that'd be weird) and myself will be taking part in a monthly music trade all this year... Every 28th, no matter what we will exchange mp3/ipods players and put a playlist made of 20 songs that we would like to share with each other and for an entire week we have to listen to just that playlist on our players and then after that... we can listen to whatever and get ready for the next 28th!!! So often we suggest music to each other and ignore each other then later we find we like the people on our own... why not save time!!! The songs can be anything,... silly, amusing, odd, not our usual taste, old, new... whatever! Repeats are aloud... but not excessively... I'll probably post my list after I give it to Aki and post what he gave me... and rate it.....maybe... if time allows So! This 28th we're trading and can start listening the 1st of January... here's to a year of music! post comment

break [16 Dec 2009|04:18pm] cherrymint28 Oh why hello there livejournal I have some things I probably should be doing… writing the 2 essays I have due In the next week ish… pay a parking ticket, finish the slideshows for my co-workers, figure out when my jury duty is again and return my library books, clean my house, make all my x-mas gifts and hang out with people… all the time. Yep that's my "check list" Since the last entry Cole and I found magic sand… it was fantastic, it sparkled when you stepped into it and there was no explanation that same night he took me all over… check out the planes on the way to plum island… it was cute Cole got super excited and explained all the different parts… come to think about it we hung out quite a bit over thanksgiving break… yes it's been that long… it was really refreshing to be around someone who actually has a drive and a passion for what they're doing with their life. Sometimes I kinda feel alone and like I'm doing something wrong because I'm doing all my work… and not going out and having fun… Anyways! yea! what else… I've been pretty school obsessed since… forever, it's kinda gross, I'm glad its over… sorta… pretty much. What did Cole and I do… we had the "day", went out to breakfast… then went to portsmouth… then the beach… then… Mr. Foxness… oh! and getting a sweet new jacket! Soon we'll be making a rather foxy apron dress… kinda excited. Cole comes back soon too!! woo oh! the wedding! there was so much drama… Donna kept giving me the death glare for forgetting my necklace and all my cousin's couldn't believe i'm out of my awkward phase… At the end of the night Donna refused to pay the band and let me tell you… that did not go over well… she's nuts. legit. She also makes it a point to knock me off my high horse… all the time. When I was little my cousin's neighbor would always look at my picture and go on and on about how we were going to date… and i met him and was not impressed… let me tell you… little Brett has grown up… unfortunately he can't hold a conversation to save his life and is not that interesting… at all. One of my cousin's I'm pretty sure has a cousin crush on me… not cool… and yep… that was the wedding. It's hard to even remember things that have happened since Thanksgiving break… I know I said there was lots to write… but oh man… whenever you write things far after intended it's easy to keep it short and neglect so many things that you already forget… bummer… I'll just write about now… My portfolio review was last night… it went great! Like… people came up to me afterwards and told me how much they liked it and it was they're favorite :-) That felt so good after cramming in all that in no time and really feeling like I needed to "prove" myself to show I'm an artist just like them… and I feel like I came through. Today I've been attempting to clean but… honestly… I just want to hang out with people and cant get myself to do so… but I will! In fact… I'll do that now! I will…. try 1 comment|post comment
